Asher's Choice

As he opened the door and walk in, Ash wondered why he was here.  He hadn’t talked to her in about 15 years, since the day he told her she deserved better than him, the day he chose to pursue a life with his ex-wife, a marriage that was not without love, but that was not perfect either.

This was a post I found on someone's profile, apparently one of those forward things, but I like it, especially since there was one person on my mind when I read this and everything is so true.
